Pin Ups (2015 Remaster) Half Speed Master LP

October 2023 marked the 50th anniversary of David Bowie’s classic collection of cover songs, PIN UPS, originally released on October 19, 1973—a mere six months after ALADDIN SANE and three months after the final Ziggy Stardust show at London’s Hammersmith Odeon, where he put the Ziggy persona to rest along with the Spiders from Mars.

Recorded at Château d’Hérouville in France—where Bowie would later return to record LOW—PIN UPS collects covers of the bands and artists that inspired him, many first seen at London clubs like the Marquee in the mid-to-late ’60s, including The Yardbirds, The Kinks, Pink Floyd, The Who, the Pretty Things, The Easybeats, and more.
